Standard

I am involved with social and collaborative learning across Virgin Media, I am not 100% sure this research reflects Virgin Media trends, what are your thoughts, please?

  1. David, I’m glad you are putting this question out there. I’d like your readers to keep in mind that most of the online communities used in this research are B2B customer communities and member communities at professional/trade associations. I would think that B2C communities, where the members don’t rely on the community to do their jobs, might see difference results. In the same way that the 90-9-1 rule is a general rule that might not hold up depending on the type of online community, this research might have different results for other types of communities. If you applied this methodology to Virgin Media, what would your ratios look like?
